Your Part to Help Save Lives |
|
Donate Life is the proud beneficiary of the SunTrust
Richmond Marathon, Half Marathon and NTELOS 8k,
working to increase organ and tissue donation. Through
educational efforts, we encourage all Americans
to say “Yes” to organ and tissue donation and record
a donation decision. One organ donor can save 7
lives and one tissue donor can help more than 50
people. Today you can make a difference by signing
up as a donor at the DMV, signing a donor card,
and talking to your family. Together we can save
lives. Donate Life is a program of the non-profit
agencies UNOS
and LifeNet
and a portion of every race entry fee supports their
educational efforts to help save lives through organ
and tissue donation.
